The center will harness the power of cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) and fundamentally change the way health care is provided. The center will focus on making care more personalized and effective for patients and more efficient and manageable for physicians, nurses and all those striving to ensure patients receive the very best care. The Portfolio Manager I supports the Senior Director, Agile Operations in executing the strategic needs of the Center and is responsible for the operational management and continuous improvement of CHAI's AI governance processes. This role serves as the central coordinator for AI intake, review, and oversight activities, ensuring all AI initiatives are structured, compliant, and decision-ready for executive governance. In addition, the position must be able to be successful in a dynamic environment, managing highly iterative and constantly changing requirements to enable delivery of desired outcomes, while at the same time being flexible. The ideal candidate will be accountable for execution of portfolio management strategy, ensuring that project progress is tracked and documented in alignment with both institutional and Center for Health AI strategies. This is a hybrid position with regular days in office on the medical school campus. CHAI supports a flexible work environment to support a range of work schedules and better work-life guardrails. Ensuring the well-being of our team members is a top priority. The Portfolio Manager I will report to the Senior Director, Agile Operations.
