The Research Unit Analytical Pathology (AAP) at Helmholtz Munich develops and implements state-of-the-art mass spectrometry-based methods for the spatially resolved analysis of biological systems. A focus lies on imaging mass spectrometry (IMS) to investigate systemic metabolic processes, hormone distributions, and exogenous environmental chemicals such as endocrine disrupting compounds across tissues and organs. The group combines methodological innovation with translational biomedical research, providing a scientifically challenging environment for independently conducting postdoctoral research.
This part-time Postdoctoral position (f/m/x) is designed to focus on clearly defined core research activities within the project. It offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact research in a flexible working model, allowing for combination with other academic, clinical, or personal commitments.
Note on part-time position This is a 50% position with a strong focus on the core research tasks outlined above, enabling concentrated scientific work within a clearly defined scope.
Desirable qualifications
If you fulfill all the requirements, you may be eligible for a salary grade of up to E 13. Social benefits are based on the Collective Wage Agreement for Public-Sector Employees (TVöD). This position is for a fixed term of 3 years.
