Ready to shape the future of separation science? Join the prestigious ERC-funded DynanoNet project and help pioneer digitally controlled separation technologies based on electronically tunable membranes. We warmly welcome your application.
You will join the Department of Fibre and Polymer Technology (FPT), Sweden's leading academic environment for research and education in polymers, fibres, cellulose-based materials, and sustainable technologies. FPT combines fundamental science with real-world impact through strong collaborations with industry and research partners.
As part of the Fibre Processes and Technology division, you will work in an ambitious, interdisciplinary team developing a new class of electronically tunable cellulose-based membranes that enable adaptive, digitally controlled separation processes. The research is led by Assistant Professor Tobias Benselfelt and focuses on nanofibril-based materials, electrochemically controlled membranes, and digitalized separation processes.
The position involves research within the DynanoNet project, including:
The successful candidate may also contribute to the supervision and mentoring of PhD and master's students.
Requirements
Personal skills
To be successful in this role, you should be responsible, independent, motivated, curious, and well organized. You have strong collaborative skills and enjoy working in interdisciplinary research environments.
