The Department of Biomedicine at Faculty of Health at Aarhus University invites applications for a position as Postdoc in the field of kidney receptor biology as per 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is a fixed-term full-time position for 19 months.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group studying the role of receptor-mediated endocytosis in kidney proximal tubule cells and its contribution to proteinuria-induced kidney injury. Our research integrates molecular and cellular biology, mouse models, advanced imaging, and omics technologies to uncover mechanisms driving chronic kidney disease and identify new therapeutic strategies. The position provides outstanding opportunities for scientific development in renal physiology, endocytic receptor biology, epithelial cell biology, and translational kidney research, supported by an international and collaborative research environment.

You have academic qualifications at PhD level, preferably within medicine, molecular medicine, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, physiology, or a related discipline. We expect that you:
