The Jülich Centre for Neutron Science – Neutron Methods (JCNS-4) operates at the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum (MLZ) in Garching near Munich a suite of high performance neutron scattering instruments. It provides access to these instruments for scientists from universities and research institutions in Germany and the world. The JCNS actively researches improvements in neutron methods including the use of polarized ³He neutron spin filters and the physics thereof. We are looking for a scientist to join the ³He/Neutron polarization group for a new project.
To work on developments towards a new neutron spin analyzer technique using advanced polarized ³He and neutron methods that could be employed for example on longitudinal neutron spin echo as well as for other neutron spin sensitive methods. Your duties and responsibilities within this position:
