The Cambronne lab has a funded position for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with experimental expertise in large-scale fluorescence data collection and analyses. Ideal candidates will have additional experience in flow cytometry, imaging, cell culture, next-generation sequencing, and metabolic analyses. The project involves working with a unique collection of metabolic biosensors.

We uphold a high standard in scientific rigor, and tackle challenging problems in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and physiology to glean insight into disease onset and progression.
Responsibilities include leading and conducting primary research, working with the PI to establish project goals, setting and adhering to project timelines, performing research, maintaining detailed records, preparing figures and manuscripts, establishing new protocols, collaborating with colleagues relating to lab work, and providing guidance/assistance on related projects to other lab members. Additionally, staying abreast with primary literature and presenting research progress within the group and as needed to broader audiences is required.
Requires a PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or closely related field. The PhD degree must have been received within the past three years. Prior expertise in molecular and cell biology or biochemistry is essential.
Preferred skills include critical thinking, creative problem solving, strong organizational habits, a solid work ethic, high self-motivation and conscientiousness. Ability to follow-through projects till completion and the ability to work with other co-workers committed to high standards. Experience in flow cytometry, imaging, cell culture, next-generation sequencing, and metabolic analyses is preferred.
