Postdoctoral Fellow

The Cambronne lab has a funded position for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with experimental expertise in large-scale fluorescence data collection and analyses. Ideal candidates will have additional experience in flow cytometry, imaging, cell culture, next-generation sequencing, and metabolic analyses. The project involves working with a unique collection of metabolic biosensors.

Responsibilities include leading and conducting primary research, working with the PI to establish project goals, maintaining detailed records, preparing figures and manuscripts, establishing new protocols, collaborating with colleagues relating to lab work, and providing guidance/assistance on related projects to other lab members. Additionally, staying abreast with primary literature and presenting research progress within the group and to broader audiences is required.

Required Qualifications

Requires a PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or closely related field. The PhD degree must have been received within the past three years. Prior expertise in molecular and cell biology or biochemistry is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred skills include critical thinking, creative problem solving, strong organizational habits, a solid work ethic, highly self-motivated and conscientious. Experience in flow cytometry, imaging, cell culture, next-generation sequencing, and metabolic analyses is preferred.

Salary Range

$58,744 + depending on qualifications
