Your next career opportunity You will drive cutting-edge decision science research that blends finance, neuroscience, psychology and computational methods. You will design and deploy production-grade digital platforms, translating fundamental insights into scalable tools for societal benefit. You will gain teaching experience and collaborate within a vibrant, interdisciplinary Centre and Department of Finance.

What you will deliver:

• Conduct advanced machine learning and computational research, producing high-quality publications in decision science and related fields.
• Design and maintain robust analytical pipelines and data workflows, following modern software engineering and governance practices.
• Develop and deploy production-grade digital platforms and tools that translate research outputs into ethical real-world applications.
• Deliver engaging teaching in relevant undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, contributing to CBMM and Department programmes.
• Co-supervise Honours, Masters and PhD students and actively participate in seminars, conferences and committees.

You may be a great fit if you:

• Hold a PhD in finance, economics, neuroscience, computer science, psychology, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Demonstrate a strong research record through working papers or publications in high-quality relevant journals.
• Bring advanced machine learning, statistical modelling and data analysis skills, including experience building deployable production-grade solutions.
• Use modern software development practices such as Git-based code management and contemporary deployment workflows.
• Supervise Honours and PhD students effectively, supporting their development across interdisciplinary decision science projects.
• Collaborate confidently across finance, neuroscience, psychology and engineering domains, communicating complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
