We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate to join our team at WashU Medicine in St. Louis. Our lab investigates novel mechanisms regulating platelet and neutrophil activation and their homotypic and heterotypic interactions in thromboinflammatory diseases, including ischemic stroke, sepsis, and atherothrombosis.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will study the mechanisms regulating platelet activation and aggregation during thromboinflammation, using cutting-edge approaches such as confocal intravital microscopy, CRISPR-based gene editing, proteomics, and mouse models of human disease.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
