Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Organic Luminescent Materials to work under the supervision of Dr Daniel Congrave for a period of up to 1 year with a possibility for extension. The project involves synthetic organic and physical chemistry and is funded by the European Research Council.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry (or be close to completion) prior to taking up the appointment. The research requires experience in multi-step synthetic organic chemistry, computational chemistry, electrochemistry and spectroscopy. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management including interacting with collaborators, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
The post will be based in the Department of Chemistry, and is available as soon as possible.

Pay Scale: RESEARCH GRADE 7
Salary: £39,424 – £47,779 per annum (inclusive of Oxford University Weighting)
