Karolinska Institutet is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to an exciting EU-funded project (ALP-RARE) targeting Alport spectrum disease, a group of rare hereditary kidney disorders with no approved curative therapy. As a postdoctoral researcher you will lead the experimental work of KI's contribution to the multicenter preclinical studies within ALP-RARE. The project aims to validate promising drug candidates in mouse models of Alport syndrome. Your main responsibilities will include:
To be eligible for employment as a postdoctoral researcher, a PhD or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a Swedish PhD is required. This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. Completion of your doctoral degree within the last three years is considered an advantage.
