We are seeking an experienced and scientifically driven computational biologist to help advance our mission of discovering and developing novel therapies for patients with cardio-renal-metabolic (CRM) diseases. This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of CRM medicines by working at the forefront of computational biology, human disease understanding, and translational science. As a Principal Scientist in the CRM Computational Biology team, you will play a key role in translating complex human biological and clinical data into actionable insights that shape target discovery, biomarker strategies, patient stratification, and translational research.
Embedded in Boehringer Ingelheim's growing Computational Innovation department, you will work at the interface of human biology, data science, and therapeutic innovation. In close partnership with scientists across the CRM Therapeutic Area and other key functions, you will provide computational leadership that enables data-driven decisions across the drug discovery and early development pipeline.
This position can be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach. If filled in Ingelheim, up to 20% of travelling is expected to ensure a close connection to the teams in Biberach. This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 2-3 days per week on site.
This position is part time eligible with 80 %.
