Vertex's Automation of Machinery and Process (AMP) Team is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to develop cutting-edge manufacturing solutions for its Cell & Genetic Therapies programs. This pivotal role is at the forefront of automating complex processes in one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving fields in biotechnology. You will work with a passionate team of engineers, scientists, and innovators united by a shared mission: to push the boundaries of what's possible in Cell & Genetic Therapy. This position plays a critical role in leading cross-functional workstreams for equipment & systems development, process optimization, and technology transfer to deliver robust and reliable manufacturing systems.

$141,800 – $212,800
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

On-Site Designated
In this On-Site designated role, you will work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
