The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking a Program Director, Diagnostic Radiology Residency for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series, depending on qualifications and interests and will provide clinical services primarily at the UCSF Health sites but may also include clinical work at other UCSF-affiliated sites. The selected candidate will be expected to demonstrate ongoing clinical activity while also contributing to academic activities and other related duties as required.

The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligibility) to practice medicine in California, and completion of fellowship training in an imaging sub-specialty. The program director must possess specialty expertise and at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience. Applicants are also expected to be board-certified by the American Board of Radiology or by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The selected candidate must meet all of the qualifications at the time of appointment.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $190,600-$405,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The total negotiated salary, including the minimum base salary, for full-time UCSF radiologists (excluding additional clinical bonuses) ranges from approximately $500,000 to $575,000, depending on rank and step.
