Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, The Global Health Building, Old Road Campus, Headington
We are seeking to appoint a Project Manager to support the transformative collaboration between the University of Oxford and the Tam Anh Research Institute (TAMRI), Vietnam—part of the Vietnam Vaccine Corporation and the Tam Anh Hospital network. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team and help shape a high-impact bilateral initiative that sits at the intersection of global health, research innovation, and institutional capacity building.
You will be responsible for conducting needs assessments and define learning outcomes in consultation with Oxford and TAMRI leads. Further responsibilities include supporting the organisation of annual expert exchange workshops between University of Oxford and TAMRI researchers. You will also manage communication channels for Funding Call outreach campaigns and act as the central point of coordination across all partnership projects. Further to this you will use data-driven insights to inform programme adjustments and strategic reviews.
It is essential that you hold an MSc degree in public health, global health, biomedical sciences, business management, or a related field. Further to this you must have proven experience leading multi-institutional international programmes and capacity building initiatives, also managing complex budgets, resource allocation and reporting. Must be fluent in both English and Vietnamese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Applications for this vacancy should be made online and you will need to upload a supporting statement and CV. Your supporting statement must explain how you meet each of the selection criteria for the post using examples of your skills and experience. Please restrict your documentation to your CV and supporting statement only. Any other documents will be requested at a later date.
This position is offered part-time on a fixed term contract for 12 months and is funded by Tam Anh Service Agreement. Only applications received before 12 midday on 1 June 2026 will be considered. Please quote 18626 on all correspondence.
