Analyst and Expert for Mass Spectrometry

Salary Range: € 27,510 to € 51,090

As an analyst and expert for mass spectrometry, you will contribute to the development and implementation of analytical methods for therapeutic oligonucleotides and peptides, work with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with diverse scientific experts in a highly innovative pharmaceutical environment. Key Responsibilities

• Independently design, execute and interpret analytical activities, using your expertise to drive innovation and support scientific advancement.
• Document, analyze and present experimental results in accordance with laboratory best practices and Novartis quality, safety and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to innovative solutions in a dynamic international environment.
• Support technology transfer projects and help ensure the successful implementation of analytical methods and processes.
• Evaluate and introduce advanced laboratory technologies and techniques in analytical chemistry, including LC-MS, LC-MS/MS and HPLC.
• Share your expertise, contribute to team development and help foster a culture of scientific excellence.

Essential Requirements

• University degrees (BSc or MSc, PhD preferred) from chemistry, biologics, pharma or any other appropriate natural sciences.
• Strong expertise in mass spectrometry (MS) techniques and their application for the characterization and quantification of organic compounds.
• Experience in the analysis and characterization of organic macromolecules, such as peptides, proteins and nucleic acids, will be highly valued.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while adapting quickly to new challenges.
• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, a collaborative approach to teamwork, self-motivation and a passion for continuous learning.
• Proficiency in English, enabling effective collaboration in a global environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and digital productivity tools.

We are offering a permanent contract, with 6-months probation period.
