We are seeking a Research Assistant to join the Simões Group at the Department of Physiology Anatomy & Genetics (DPAG), Institute of Developmental and Regenerative Medicine (IDRM). The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated scientist with hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology and cell culture techniques, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting cutting-edge research in cardiovascular development and regeneration, including laboratory maintenance, zebrafish husbandry management, molecular biology experiments, and cell culture work. This post is available from October 2026 and is fixed term for 2 years.
