The research associate is expected to develop a milli-Kelvin microwave microscope with nanoscale lateral resolution and zeptofarad impedance sensitivity, as well as to apply the technique to study exotic quantum materials and devices with topological or correlated phases.
PhD. in Condensed Matter Physics. Independent operation of a liquid-helium-based dilution refrigerator; familiar with vacuum techniques, scanning probe microscopy, microwave electronics, and finite-element analysis; deep understanding in quantum physics of topological and strongly correlated materials.
Prior experience in milli-Kelvin microwave impedance microscopy implemented in dilution refrigerators.
