Research Engineer

NTU School of EEE is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and research. With more than 130 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which close to 1,000 are graduate students, it is one of the largest EEE schools in the world.

We are looking for a Research Engineer to develop machine learning models for recommendation systems. The role will focus on R&D activities including the development of recommendation system architectures, publishing in top-tier journal/conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing recommendation system architectures
• Publishing in top-tier conference/journal papers
• Attend conferences to present key results
• Submission of reports
• Working closely and mentoring final year project students

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Engineering related field
• At least 4 years of relevant experiences in similar role.
• Familiarity and track record with publishing in top-tier journals and/or conferences.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Python programming language and machine learning.
• Ability to work independently and develop solutions under strict timelines.
