We are seeking a Research Engineer for the CARE-AI project, a collaborative initiative between KTH (EECS) and Region Stockholm (Södersjukhuset). You will build and maintain secure data pipelines (ETL) to ingest and link large-scale, pseudonymized health datasets from the TakeCare, VAL, and LISA registries. Duties include optimizing and scaling the project's machine learning codebase, incorporating causal models and the CARE-Sim simulation engine. You will develop and integrate the software interface for a clinical decision support system and provide technical support during a 12-month clinical trial rollout in primary care. You will act as the primary technical liaison between KTH researchers and the clinical team at Södersjukhuset.
