The Department of Pediatrics at the Dell Medical School is looking for a Research Engineering/Scientist Assistant. Employment is based on continuation of grant funding.
This is a lab staff position to support the Ekker program and to further develop our gene editing research efforts.
Responsibilities include:
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering or technical field or a graduate of the ACC biotechnology program Associate of Applied Science Degree. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience with cell culture especially iPSCs or ES cells.
Salary range is $35,000+ depending on qualifications.
Working conditions may include working around standard office conditions and repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Required materials include a resume/CV, 3 work references with their contact information; at least one reference should be from a supervisor, and a letter of interest.
