The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. Key responsibilities include developing electrochemical processes such as electroless plating, electroplating, and electrochemical etching. Technical write up and presentation are also required.
Job requirements include a PhD degree in Chemistry, Material Science and Engineering, or a relative field. Experience in surface finishing and knowledge and experience in electrochemistry are necessary. A team player with technical motivation to solve problems and good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
This role will be exposed to Lead (inorganic and organic, as Pb) and Mercury (elemental and compound) in the course of work.
