Research Fellow Position

Young and research-intensive, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is ranked among the world's top universities. We are seeking a Research Fellow to conduct research on LLM agent safety and secure authentication.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop monitoring methods to detect malicious skill execution and unsafe or misaligned agent behaviour.
• Design experiments and prototypes to evaluate agent safety, task performance and monitoring overhead.
• Investigate biometric authentication for smartphones and wearable devices and evaluate security and usability.
• Analyse findings, prepare publications and project reports, as well as, collaborate with the research team.

Job Requirements

• PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Electronic or Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Research background in LLM agent safety, runtime monitoring, biometric authentication or intelligent-device security.
• Familiarity with LLM agents and ability to implement prototypes and conduct rigorous experiments.
• Experience in biometric sensing or acoustic signal analysis would be an advantage.
