Join a growing portfolio of projects in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning. These projects build on the School's strengths in AI, machine learning and vision, natural language understanding and robotics. They also collaborate with other requisite disciplines to integrate human and social values in AI systems, touching on aspects of philosophy, cognition, policy, and safety.
You will conduct research on Human-Centred AI with applications in bridging the information gaps in real world applications and design and implement novel algorithms, formulating and solving human-centered AI problems. The Research Fellow will also support the development of partnerships with industry and government stakeholders, engage with the wider research community to advance computing research and education capabilities.
In addition, you will contribute to the School educational programs, including being the mentor for research students and teaching activities that align with your career development. The nature and scope of these activities will be negotiated between the Research Fellow, their supervisor, and the school.
