Research Fellow Position

We are looking for a Research Fellow to support the research project on “Novel High Performance Piezoelectric Thin Film Composite (TFC) Nanofiltration/Reverse Osmosis (NF/RO) Membrane for Industrial Separation and Purification Application”

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and fabrication of piezoelectric membrane with porous substrate and selective thin layer, create new membrane structures and materials
2. Characterization and analysis of membrane properties using advanced analytical tools, e.g., SEM, TEM, XPS, AFM, etc.
3. Performance testing of membrane in various applications like desalination, reclamation, filtration etc.
4. Project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of reports and publication in high-impact journals, compliance with safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in chemical/environmental/material engineering
• Relevant research experience in membrane fabrication and process, desalination and water reclamation, industrial wastewater treatment and resource recovery
• Oral presentation skill, multitasking skill
• Self-motivated and able to work on your own and in a team
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication and writing skills
• Strong responsibility for research
