Research Fellow Position

We are looking for a Research Fellow to support the research project on “Novel High Performance Piezoelectric Thin Film Composite (TFC) Nanofiltration/Reverse Osmosis (NF/RO) Membrane for Industrial Separation and Purification Application”

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrating Machine Learning (ML) with Molecular Dynamics (MD) to predict phase-separation dynamics and membrane morphology prior to physical experiments
• Characterization and analysis of membrane properties using advanced analytical tools, e.g., SEM, TEM, XPS, AFM, etc.
• Performance testing of membrane in various applications like desalination, reclamation, filtration etc.
• Project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of reports and publication in high-impact journals, compliance with safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree from a reputable university in chemical/environmental/material engineering
• Relevant research experience in membrane fabrication and process, desalination and water reclamation, industrial wastewater treatment and resource recovery
• Oral presentation and multitasking skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team
• Good interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
• Strong responsibility for research
