We seek to hire a postdoctoral research fellow in condensed matter and quantum materials theory with specific areas of interest in the quantum geometry of strongly correlated materials and its effects in non-reciprocal electronic, opto-electronic, and thermal response. The candidate that fills the role will investigate how quantum geometry can be evaluated in strongly correlated materials with a focus on new interacting effects and its manifestations in electron, opto-electronic, and thermal response. The candidate should have excellent skills in the techniques of condensed matter theory (e.g., perturbation theory, response theory) as well as strong familiarity with techniques in analyzing strong correlations (e.g., exact diagonalization, DMRG) and experience with connecting such analyses to real experimental phases of matter. The candidate will support research in the research group through analytical calculations, numerical simulations as well as facilitate collaboration with other research groups.
