The position is part of the project “Electrolyte Volume Metrology for Sustainable Lithium‑ion Batteries,” which develops a novel, minimally invasive gas‑sorption technique to quantify electrolyte volume in commercial lithium‑ion cells based on gas dissolution in the electrolyte.
The project is sponsored by the Novo Nordisk Foundation Pioneer Innovator Grant grounded on an invention disclosure including the method and apparatus to determine electrolyte amount in commercial lithium-ion batteries.

The employment is a temporary researcher position for 12 months, scope of employment 100%.
Starting date: 1 September 2026 or 1 October 2026 at the latest. Placement: Department of Chemistry – Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden
