This project aims to develop advanced bio-based adsorbents, membranes, and filtration systems for water treatment applications. The work focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and development of functional polymer-based materials for the removal of PFAS, pharmaceutical residues, metals, and other emerging contaminants.
The position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of materials science and environmental technology in a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment. The position involves laboratory-based and analytical work, including planning, designing, and conducting synthesis and materials development. Key responsibilities also include characterization of material properties, data analysis, and the evaluation of material performance. The role further requires the clear communication of results through both written reports and oral presentations.
