Reporting to the Medical Affairs Lead Oncology, the Medical Affairs Scientist will provide deep medical/scientific expertise and Medical Affairs leadership to various functional areas within the Oncology team. He/she will provide product(s) and therapeutic area medical expertise, as well as relevant scientific information in response to customer-stated needs. He/she will ensure patient centricity in support of the medical objectives and gathering medical insights to inform future medical strategies. The Medical Affairs Scientist will serve as the primary medical contact for the brand team for Canada and work in partnership with International and Global medical partners as appropriate to provide two-way information flow. He/she will ensure connectivity between the brand team and field medical colleagues, aligned with the medical plan, customer and brand strategies. He/she adheres to and applies the principles of medical professionalism in day-to-day activities by maintaining a focus on customers and patients, integrity, accountability and continuous learning.

The annual base salary for the Level I ranges from 92,100.00 CAD to 153,500.00 CAD.
The annual base salary for the Level II level ranges from 117,000.00 to 195,000.00 CAD
The salary range provided applies to Canada only and does not apply to any other locations outside of Canada. Note: Grade level will be determined upon hire and will be based on relevant and/or industry experience.
