We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Scientist 2 to join the Immune Cloaking team within the Cell Therapy Technologies group. In this role, you will be a core member of a multidisciplinary team focused on engineering next-generation allogeneic cell therapies. You will work on the frontier of immuno-oncology, designing and testing strategies to render CAR-T cells resistant to immune rejection.
This is a lab-based role for a scientist who is energized by complex biological problems and is dedicated to translating mechanistic insights into clinical medicines. Reporting to a Principal Scientist, you will function as a core experimentalist, contributing to the development of robust immune cloaking strategies. You will have the opportunity to leverage world-class capabilities in cell engineering, gene editing, and functional screening to overcome barriers to allogeneic cell therapy efficacy.
You will work closely with cross-functional project teams to advance our immune cloaking programs, ensuring high-quality data generation and rigorous scientific interpretation.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of San Diego, CA is $74,300 to $138,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
