Scientist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the aging/age-related disorders therapeutic focus area. In this role, you will contribute to target discovery and validation work in the area of skin biology. We hope you are excited to learn techniques to help contribute mechanistic insight into ongoing therapeutic programs.

A typical day might include:

• Culturing primary skin keratinocytes, dermal papilla cells, and other skin-related cells
• Performing luminescence-based bioassays for various signaling pathways
• Running a variety of end point molecular biology assays such as western blot, qPCR, immunofluorescence assays
• Maintaining detailed electronic laboratory records
• Communicating results clearly to internal stakeholders (managers, peers, etc.)

This role may be for you if you have:

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis and imaging software

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS degree in biology, genetics, or related field and 3+ years of relevant research experience. Must have experience using in vitro techniques including cell culture, Western blots, PCR, etc. Experience working with skin-related cells is strongly preferred.

Salary Range (annually): $93,900.00 – $153,300.00
