What You Will Do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will partner closely with the Genetic Medicine team and cross-functional collaborators, including teams in molecular biology, bioinformatics, therapeutic areas, and automation/engineering, to translate screening data into prioritized siRNA candidates and downstream characterization plans. This role requires independently leading discovery assays, owning automation activities, and driving cross-functional experimental strategy.
You will support Amgen's siRNA drug discovery and development pipeline, with a primary focus on developing high-throughput, cell-based assays for the quantitative measurement of gene transcription to screen siRNA libraries and identify potential therapeutic candidates.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master's degree and 2 years of In Vitro High-Content Imaging Assay Development experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of In Vitro High-Content Imaging Assay Development experience

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
