Computational Social Choice Team Mathematical Intelligence Group RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (Team Director : Ayumi Igarashi)
The RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP) is a leading international hub for state-of-the-art AI research. Centered around three core research groups, the Mathematical Intelligence Group, the Domain Intelligence Group, and the Physical Intelligence Group, AIP is dedicated to establishing the mathematical foundations of trustworthy AI, advancing AI technologies integrated with diverse scientific domains, and developing embodied intelligence for the real world.
The Computational Social Choice Team studies the mathematical foundations of fair and efficient resource allocation and develops algorithms and tools applicable to real-world settings. We also explore the intersection of social choice theory and machine learning to build fair AI systems supported by solid theoretical foundations.
The candidate will work on developing theoretical foundations for mechanism design aimed at socially desirable outcomes and is expected to publish the results in leading conferences and journals.
