We are recruiting a person to engage in research at the intersection of materials science, artificial intelligence, high performance computing, and software development. The goal will be to develop systems able to exploit the code generation capabilities based on AI foundation models for scientific productivity. Example directions include:
- Development of AI foundation based systems for validating, restructuring, and improving simulation software.
- Interfacing AI foundation models with supercomputers to develop automated simulation / experimentation platforms.
- Artificial Intelligence based translation of academic literature into software simulation capability.
Any changes in duties during the contract period or at the time of contract renewal will be within the scope of the above job description.
