Join the Mental Health Services Research stream within the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research (QCMHR) and use your mixed methods expertise to support purposeful research that strengthens mental health and suicide prevention service planning. Working within a collaborative team and alongside government, Primary Health Networks and community organisations, you will contribute evidence and practical insights that help shape integrated mental health systems across Queensland and Australia.
Key responsibilities will include:
A relevant degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Allied Health or a related discipline, combined with relevant research experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Demonstrated experience applying qualitative research methods and analysing research data, ideally within a health, mental health or suicide prevention context.
Proficiency in research and office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and EndNote, with experience using NVivo highly regarded.
Strong understanding of research governance, ethics and data management practices, with the ability to maintain high research standards.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing project needs and meet deadlines.
Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
