For our Visp site, we are looking for a Senior Scientist in QC. As a member of the Quality Control Biologics team, you will be responsible for the release analytics of a wide range of analytical methods in the analytics of biopharmaceutical molecules for clinical and commercial use, in compliance with quality and safety guidelines. You will work independently within the scope of projects and take responsibility. You will be in close contact with other QC groups, research, production, and quality assurance.

Your tasks:

• Implementation, optimization, transfer, and validation of analytical methods, with a focus on HPLC analytics
• Planning and co-responsibility for the execution of release analytics
• Technical and analytical expertise
• Extraction and evaluation of analytical data as well as writing reports and presentations
• Processing of investigations, amendments, and deviations under cGMP
• Creation, review, and release of documents to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Leadership of innovation projects
• Representative for project-specific inquiries in audits and inspections
• On-call duty with pre-agreed assignments within the on-call service

Your profile:

• You hold a completed degree (FH/BSc/MSc/Diploma) in biochemistry, biology, or chemistry.
• You ideally have professional experience in quality control and are familiar with the corresponding processes under GMP and/or in the analytics of large biomolecules.
• You are independent, responsible, and possess good communication and teamwork skills as well as a desire for interdisciplinary cooperation.
• You enjoy joining a young, dynamic team, are committed, and have initiative.
• Secure German and English language skills complete your profile.
