The University of Texas at Austin Mechanisms Underlying Neurocognitive Aging (MUBA) Lab is seeking a highly motivated post-baccalaureate research assistant interested in aging, neuropsychology, dementia prevention, and health disparities research. The lab conducts community-engaged research focused on understanding how biological, psychological, and neighborhood-level factors influence cognitive aging and Alzheimer's disease risk across the lifespan. This position provides hands-on experience in clinical research coordination, participant interaction, cognitive assessment, MRI research procedures, geospatial methods, and longitudinal data management within an active research environment.
This is a fixed 1-year position.
The position is ideal for students interested in pursuing graduate training in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, neuroscience, public health, medicine, or related fields.
