General Notes: This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Purpose: This position will work on the Identifying and Distinguishing Early indicators of Autism in Latino children (IDEAL) study to administer assessments, manage participant data, and conduct bilingual family outreach to advance research on early autism indicators in Latino children.

Responsibilities:

• Administer developmental, language, behavioral, and autism assessments to children and families. Follow study protocols and project-specific fidelity procedures. Enter data into REDCap and other project databases.
• Conduct bilingual (English and Spanish) participant outreach, coordinate scheduling, and provide direct family communication to support enrollment and retention.
• Code video and/or audio session recordings. Complete inter-rater reliability checks as assigned.
• Support day-to-day lab operations (e.g., supporting training, materials prep, session logistics).
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, communication sciences and disorders, human development, or other related field with at least 4 years of related experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Ability to work directly with young children and families. Ability to commit to a full-time, in-person position. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Values the contributions of others in the work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in psychology, social work communication sciences and disorders, human development, or other related field with at least 3 years of related experience. Prior research experience, particularly with developmental disabilities or autism. Experience with REDCap or similar data management systems. Experience or coursework related to child development, assessment, or clinical psychology

Salary Range

$50,000 – $60,000 – depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

• May work around standard office conditions
• Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation

Work Shift

• M-F, Flexible between 8am-6pm
