We are looking for a highly motivated staff scientist to join the Cvejic Lab with the commence date of January 1st, 2027 or soon thereafter.
Our research group studies the molecular mechanisms underlying human hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) development, using cutting-edge approaches such as single-cell multiome analysis, spatial transcriptomics, and functional assays on primary human tissue. Our work has direct relevance for regenerative, and is carried out in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment bringing together biologists, clinicians, and bioinformaticians. We offer a supportive and intellectually stimulating setting for scientists eager to contribute to fundamental discoveries in stem cell biology.

Place of employment
The place of employment is at the Biotech Research & Innovation Centre (BRIC), University of Copenhagen. We offer creative and stimulating working conditions in a dynamic and international research environment. Our research facilities include modern laboratories and core facilities.
Terms of employment
The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week. The position is a fixed-term limited until December 31st, 2029. The starting date is the 1st of January 2027 or soon thereafter. Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experiences and qualifications. The employer will pay an additional 18.07 % to your pension fund.
