Laboratory Bioinformatics Programmer
Our laboratory aims to develop innovative computational tools/methods and utilize advanced single-cell (epi)genomic techniques to gain a comprehensive understanding of gene regulation in human diseases, particularly in brain tumors and neuropsychiatric disorders. Uses skills as an experienced bioinformatics programmer with a broad understanding of computational algorithms; identifies and resolves a wide range of issues/software bugs. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Operates independently. The incumbent will design research protocols, assist in developing and conducting research projects, including computational tool development, data analysis, and prepare results for oral presentation, scientific publications, and grant applications. This is a time-limited position of up to 12 months.
Education:
Master's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.

$48,000.00 – $86,900.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
