Research in Retrieval, LLMs, and Natural Language Inference
This position is associated with the research project RATIONAL, approved under an international call jointly organized by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in Brazil and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) in Switzerland. The project is an international collaboration between the IDIAP Institute in Switzerland and São Paulo State University (UNESP) in Brazil, with research teams in both countries. The project is coordinated by Prof. Andre Freitas (IDIAP) and Prof. Daniel Pedronette (UNESP). The central research theme of RATIONAL consists of delivering robust, evidence-based
retrieval and Natural Language Inference with the support of Large Language Models.

Post-doctoral fellowship: based on FAPESP values, currently a monthly stipend of BRL 12.570,00, plus research contingency funds (10% of the annual fellowship amount, allocated each year).
