About the work
We're working on a project partnering with a leading AI lab to improve how AI models work with technical and scientific data related to frontier STEM fields! We need STEM experts like you to help us complete this work, utilizing your expertise!
Who we're looking for
Graduate-level training or extensive industry experience in one of the following:
- Engineering
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Software engineering / data science
Experience working with data and data visualization is preferred. Strong written English, and the judgment to verify a result against a source rather than eyeball it.
Details
- Minimum 5 hours per week.
- Applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Contract and Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
- Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
