The Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim is among the leading research institutes in the field of biomedical science. The institute comprises four departments and two additional research groups, with around 380 employees in total. The Cellular Resilience Research Group is a young and dynamic team studying how cells respond to stress in both physiological and disease contexts. Our particular focus is on how mitochondria, as key signaling organelles, orchestrate these responses through regulation at the RNA and protein levels.
