Our Laboratory engineers advanced microphysiological platforms, 3D-bioprinted constructs, and regenerative scaffolds that bridge the gap between cell biology and clinical translation, and is fully funded, collaborative, and actively publishing. Active funded projects include a human blood-brain barrier-on-chip platform for stroke modeling (AHA Career Development Award) and a novel neuromodulation strategy for spinal cord injury recovery (NIH Director’s New Innovator Award, DP2).
We’re looking for a postdoctoral fellow to advance regenerative therapies for spinal cord injury. We are particularly interested in candidates who have research experience in small animal models related to spinal cord injuries. The applicant is expected to have a strong background in relevant molecular and cellular assays and animal behavior testing. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct and analyze experiments, contribute to research proposals, presentations, and publications, and receive mentorship from the principal investigator.
