A staff Lab Manager / Research Associate position is available in the Joiner Lab at the University of Cincinnati (www.thejoinerlab.com).
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized scientist to support the day-to-day operations of the laboratory while contributing intellectually and experimentally to ongoing research projects. This position is supported by and is subject to the availability of grant funding.
The position is well-suited for candidates with a background in protein biochemistry or cell/molecular biology. The precise balance of responsibilities will be tailored to the expertise and interests of the successful applicant.
This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
The Lab Manager / Research Associate will play a central role in both laboratory operations and research, with responsibilities including:
Laboratory Management and Operations
Research and Scientific Contributions
Assisting with experimental design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation
Mentorship and Training
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
