The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We seek outstanding scientists who will establish and sustain innovative, extramurally funded research programs addressing fundamental or translational questions in biochemistry and molecular biology.
We welcome applications from candidates working in any area of biochemistry or molecular biology. Individuals whose research complements existing departmental strengths—including metabolism, gene expression, DNA replication and repair, and protein structure and function—are especially encouraged to apply.
