The Australian Artificial Intelligence Institute, sitting within the School of Computer Science has applications open for a scholarship opportunity for a talented and highly-motivated student to study high-quality and original data science and information systems problems.
This scholarship aligns with the Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) project “Intelligent Bibliometrics for Tracking and Predicting Technological Change”, granted by the Australian Research Council. It is calling for applications for Ph.D. a scholarship under the supervisory team of Dr. Yi Zhang. Candidates with a strong research track record including publications in computer science, information systems, information systems and management, and relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply.
This project aims to construct an intelligent information system for large-scale data analytics and visualization. This may include knowledge in text analytics, machine learning, and network analytics. Research topics of interest may include broad fields in artificial intelligence and data science, such as natural language processing, dynamic network analytics, streaming data analytics, and prediction models.
About the Scholarship
The scholarship will be sponsored by an ARC DECRA project.
Scholarships are available for high-quality applicants. The scholarship is $28,092 AUD per year for three years.
