Position Description

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering invites highly qualified applications for Visiting Researchers, Visiting Project Scientists, and Visiting Scholar positions (all ranks) for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

A Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Materials Science or related engineering fields and an excellent track record of teaching is required. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the applicant's qualifications.

Basic qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering or related fields

Additional qualifications: Candidates with an excellent track record of teaching in Materials Science and Engineering or related fields are encouraged to apply. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
