The Faltas Lab at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City https://faltaslab.weill.cornell.edu/ is seeking postdoctoral fellows and research associates with a background in cancer biology, computational biology, and bioinformatics to lead several projects including:
– The role of germline and somatic variants as immunogenomic determinants of treatment response and bladder cancer evolution.
-The role of the APOBEC3 family of cytidine deaminases in chromothripsis, genomic instability, and bladder cancer evolution.
These projects are funded by recent grants from the Starr Cancer Consortium and the P-1000 Consortium, and the Albert Institute for Bladder Cancer Research. Our well-funded and diverse laboratory is a vibrant and stimulating environment for scientific growth and fostering the independent careers of postdoctoral trainees.
