The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is recruiting a Physician Scientist Scholar for our UCSF Women's Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) K12 Career Development Program. This position is for an obstetrician-gynecologist committed to becoming an independent clinical, translational, and/or basic science researcher in women's reproductive health. It includes 2- to 5-years of intensive mentored research combined with patient care.
Successful candidates will have experience formulating and conducting research studies, publishing manuscripts, and in some cases, applying for funding with a focus on women's reproductive health. Appointed WRHR Scholars will be expected to formulate and conduct research studies, publish manuscripts, and apply for independent funding that is focused on women's reproductive health.
Required Qualifications:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The minimum base salary range for this position is $131,200-$204,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. UCSF Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences has a total salary plan that uses National benchmarking standards to set salaries by subspecialty.
